We have all wondered about the beginning. While science has guided us to a certain point in our educational lives, the formation of the sublime cycle that we cannot visualise or even imagine, and the process of its continuation into our lifetimes, has had a jaw-dropping effect. So how did it all happen? A wonderful resource awaits the curious.
Stories are alike, they have no other choice. But there are some stories that like to tell it from the beginning. I mean from the very beginning; the creation. But even that may not be enough to create the effect of unusualness that you expect. I’ve been thinking about this myself, and I’ve written an article about why creation stories are limited in fiction, no matter what.
It seems a bit paradoxical to me that we humans think our imagination is limitless. If it is limitless, then I wonder, why there are still things we cannot imagine. It’s not for nothing that we say “I never would have thought of that!” The subject is a bit tricky and open to different thoughts, so I continue not to poke around too much, at least for now.
Nevertheless, there is a reality that science has given us, so let’s move on. The birth of the universe begins with the Big Bang. We all know that, right, but what exactly is that?
When I imagine it, the things I can think of are very limited because it is not the kind of subject that can always be subjected to experimentation. The Big Bang is usually discussed in the context of physical cosmology and astronomy, usually focusing on quantum physics and general relativity. It can also be seen as a thought experiment and approached from a more metaphysical point of view.
But we are not going to do any of that today. Instead, we are going to focus on a video from a channel I have followed for years and watched sporadically. The universe has always been a subject at the heart of human curiosity, the subject of science, and then the subject of everyday life. With the innovations of our time, it has become easier to study it on a personal level. Fortunately, we have technology that not only fuels our curiosity about it, but also manages to contain it.
Without further ado, I leave you with this wonderful video from the Melodysheep channel. It is a masterpiece in which you can watch the creation of the universe, narrated by Brian Cox, Carl Sagan and David Attenborough. I urge you not to miss it, and I hope it will add some colour to your Monday evening. Without a doubt, you can enjoy a cinematic treat in a darkened room, in your pyjamas and with popcorn.

You should definitely check out the other videos on the channel. I often dance and sing along to his videos, in which he combines clips from conferences and interviews from various fields of science with electronic music. I also highly recommend watching his series entitled “Life Beyond”. Then you will better understand that I am sharing a treasure with you. And don’t be angry with me if you can’t get off the channel. Have a good time.
